Booklet | AI
Gide has published a second edition of its booklet on the legal implications of artificial intelligence, and in particular generative AI.
The aim of this second edition is to provide readers from all walks of life with a didactic understanding of the new European legal regime and the legal issues raised by AI.
In the first part, the authors present Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 13, 2024 laying down harmonized rules on artificial intelligence (background, new obligations, monitoring and practical recommendations for stakeholders). With the adoption of this new regulation, the European Union is the first region in the world to adopt ambitious legislation to regulate AI.
In the second part, the Booklet's expert co-authors examine legal issues of AI in relation to ten fields:
Spearheaded by Gide's 255 team, this Booklet is the fruit of cross-disciplinary work carried out in conjunction with all of Gide's practice groups, under the supervision of its Scientific Council and the Knowledge Management.
