Associate Emilie Leygonie is a member of Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate practice group in Paris. She specialises in company acquisitions and sales, stake acquisitions, and mergers, for both listed and non-listed companies, in France and abroad.
She mainly acts on domestic mergers and acquisitions involving the sale of industrial subsidiaries for institutional investors or major European industrial groups, or of property assets for international investors. She regularly acts on venture capital and investment capital cases, advising either investors or issuing companies, as part of funding, restructuring or disposal operations.
Emilie holds a research Master's degree in business law from Paris II - Panthéon-Assas University, under Professor Synvet. Her thesis was entitled "L’opportunité des class actions en droit français [The opportunity of class actions in French law]". Emilie also holds a Master's degree in business law from the same university.
She speaks French and English.
