Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Julien Guinot-Deléry has been working for 15 years in intellectual property law, more particularly copyright, media and communication law (press, advertising, sponsorship, etc.), as well as in technology and digital law
Julien assists and represents French and foreign groups, both in advisory and transactional matters and in litigation.
He regularly acts in complex litigation in the fields of intellectual property, technology and digital law (IT litigation, liability of intermediaries, cybersecurity) and unfair competition, as well as in sector litigation in the media and digital fields.
Julien assists his clients in the management and use of their intangible assets, as well as in their communication activities (image rights, e-reputation, advertising & social networks). He also assists numerous groups, investors and growth companies in the technology and digital sectors, in particular in the context of venture capital operations, particularly on IP/IT and personal data processing issues.
Julien has also developed significant expertise in innovation issues related to NFTs and the Metaverse, for which he is very regularly contacted by a wide range of clients (large groups, start-ups, issuers, platforms or service providers) in order to assist them in the validation and legal structuring of their operations. He regularly publishes articles and hosts conferences on legal issues related to NFTs and the Metaverse.
Julien is a graduate of the ESCP Business School's Specialised Media Master's programme, and holds Master's degrees in business law and in communication law (Paris Panthéon-Assas University). He also lectures in advertising law at Master's level at the same University.
