Gide has advised Ardian on its acquisition of a majority stake in UNITe through its fund Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), in particular through the acquisition of the shareholdings of Omnes, Bpifrance and Société Générale Capital Partenaires.
The UNITe group is a multi-technology renewable power specialist with more than 1.5 GW of projects under development. It is recognized as the leading independent player in small hydro in France (PHE), with 36 powerplants, and one of the most promising photovoltaic developers.
The transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
