Gide has advised Groupama Asset Management (‘Groupama AM’) on the structuring of ‘Groupama Agro Solution Debt’, a private debt fund dedicated to financing the transformation of environmental practices of companies in the agricultural and agri-food sector.
This fund is reserved for professional investors, within the meaning of the MiFID Directive, and classified as Article 8 within the meaning of the SFDR Regulation. It will invest mainly in senior debt.
With a fundraising target of €200 million, ‘Groupama Agro Solution Debt’ raised €100 million for its first closing in September 2024.
The Gide team comprised partner Stéphane Puel, counsel Clothilde Beau and associate Margot Lecoeur, who advised on the legal and regulatory structuring of the fund, and partner Laurent Modave and counsel Foulques Delaporte on tax issues.
