Gide advised Vallourec, a manufacturer of premium steel tubular products listed on Euronext Paris, on the acquisition by ArcelorMittal of Apollo's 27.5% stake in Vallourec at a price of €14.64 per share, for a total purchase consideration of €955 million.
The Gide team consisted of Charles de Reals, partner, Kathleen Quinard and Charlotte Duval on the corporate aspects, Laurent Godfroid, partner, Perceval Renié and Pauline Cabany on the antitrust aspects, and Pierre-Antoine Degrolard, counsel, on the foreign investment aspects.
