Banking & Finance / Project Finance
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Nathalie Benoit is a partner in Gide's Banking & Finance practice. She specialises in acquisition finance, corporate finance and debt restructuring, where she acts on behalf of credit institutions, debt funds, sponsors and industrial groups.
Nathalie is graduated from the University of Paris-Dauphine (Master of Corporate Law) and from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master 2 in Banking and Finance Law).
Banking & Finance / Project Finance
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2009, Gide Partner Farah El-Bsat specialises in structured finance. She advises both lenders and borrowers in real estate finance and project finance transactions, in France and internationally.
Farah joined Gide in 2008. She holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in international law and international organizations from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Economic and European Law
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006, Laura Castex specialises in European and French competition law as well as distribution law (distribution networks, commercial agreements, etc.) and consumer law, both in a consultancy capacity and as a litigator.
With respect to merger control, Laura advises major French and foreign firms for their investments and divestments transactions (including in non-EU jurisdictions). With respect to anticompetitive practices (concerted practices and abuse of dominance), Laura has extensive experience in investigation proceedings and the design of bespoke compliance programs. She also assists our clients in the context of private enforcement litigation.Furthermore, Laura regularly advises our clients in structuring of commercial relationships and related litigation.
Laura holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in corporate and economic law (University of Paris I). She is also an alumnus of the Cachan Ecole Normale Supérieure and is an “agrégée d’économie gestion” (post graduate competitive degree in economy and management).
Mergers & Acquisitions / Venture Capital
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Louis Oudot de Dainville specialises in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, and particularly in matters related to venture capital and private equity, notably in the new technologies sector. He assists both investors and growth companies in fundraising, restructuring, external growth operations and exits. With several years of experience in Gide's Beijing and Shanghai offices, Louis has also acquired solid experience in foreign direct investment in France and China.
He holds a postgraduate degree (DESS) in business law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas, and a degree in Chinese Studies from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations.
Real Estate Transactions & Financing
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2005, Antoine Mary specialises in real estate law, including real estate litigation.
He advises both institutional investors and large users across the breadth of their real estate operations, with a particular focus on transactional matters (asset deals, share deals, outsourcing), commercial leases and real estate development.
Antoine holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in Business Law from the University of Paris X Nanterre.
Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Media & Technology
Julien has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2008. He specialises in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on media and communication law (press, advertising, sponsorship, etc.), copyright law, as well as technology and digital law. He assists and represents French and foreign groups, both in advisory and transactional matters and in litigation. He regularly acts in complex litigation involving intellectual property, technology and unfair competition issues, as well as in disputes in the media sector.
Julien holds a Specialised Master's in Media (Mastère Spécialisé® Médias) from ESCP Business School, a Master's in Business Law (Paris I) and a Master's in Communication Law (Paris II).
Regulatory & Investment funds
Benjamin Delaunay was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2009. He specialises in asset management and financial services. He advises management companies and investors (French and international) on the structuring of investment funds, particularly in the real estate sector. He assists regulated institutions in all matters relating to banking and financial regulation and in the implementation of their operations (authorisation, acquisition, distribution, etc.) that present regulatory challenges. He also represents these institutions in disciplinary proceedings (control, investigation and sanction) initiated by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR).
Benjamin Delaunay holds a Master's degree in the law of economic activities from Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and a Specialised Master’s in Asset Management from ESCP Europe.
