Gide and Norton Rose Fulbright, international business law firms, have advised KKR, a world-leading US global investment firm, on acquiring from BMF group and its co-founders a majority stake in Etche France, a leading owner-operator of French real estate assets.
Etche France is a private real estate company that owns and operates a portfolio of approximately 120 assets across France, valued at around EUR 400 million, in the logistics, light industrial, and office sectors. The transaction will further expand KKR’s real estate presence and capabilities in France.
Gide advised KKR on all M&A and real estate aspects of this operation.
The Gide team was headed by partner Frédéric Nouel, working with counsels Cléopha Thomann and Pierre-Adrien Vibert, and associates Clémence Viaud and Candice Veroux.
Norton Rose Fulbright advised KKR on the structuring and all the tax aspects of this operation - including Luxembourg and US aspects of tax law -, conducting due diligence and negotiating the share purchase agreement.
Etche France was advised by law firm Kramer Levin.
Group BMF was advised by law firm Bredin Prat.
