Gide has advised DIF Capital Partners on the acquisition of a 55% shareholding in the French EV charging operator Bump.
Bump is a Charge Point Operator that designs, installs, operates and owns EV charging infrastructures.
Bump has a unique positioning on the French market by securing mid to long term contracts primarily with EV fleet operators, both in fleet depots and in third party car parks.
Bump managed to develop a fast growing existing EV charging infrastructure base, with an expected portfolio of over 1,700 charge points installed or signed by the end of 2022.
