Gide advised the Bénéteau Group before the French Competition Authority on the sale of its subsidiary Bio Habitat, a major player in the construction of mobile homes, to Trigano, a leading player in the leisure vehicles and equipment sector.
This transaction is in line with Trigano's development strategy in this dynamic segment of the leisure vehicles and equipment market.
After conducting several market tests and an in-depth competitive analysis over several months, the Autorité finally authorised the transaction, particularly in view of the competitive pressure exerted by the new entity's competitors and their available production capacity.
The Gide team comprised Charles de Reals, partner, Corentin Charlès, Axel Azoulay and Diane Baudin Le Voyer on the corporate aspects, and Franck Audran, partner, Maximilien Rodrigues and Martin Roger on the merger law aspects.
The CMS Francis Lefebvre team advising Trigano comprised Denis Redon, partner, Vincent Lorieul, counsel and Marine Bonnier.
Trigano was also advised by August Debouzy on the corporate aspects of the transaction, with Xavier Rohmer and Jérôme Brosset, partners, and Hadrien Auzoux.
