On Wednesday, 20 August 2014, the Government of the Russian Federation issued Resolution No. 830 (the “Resolution”) which introduced amendments to the list of food and agricultural products and raw materials originated from the EU countries, the US, Canada, Australia and Norway and prohibited for import into Russia.
The Resolution amends the original list set out in the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 778 dated 7 August 2014.
In accordance with the Resolution, the embargo will no longer apply to the import of the following products originated from the countries in question:
The Resolution was officially published on 20 August 2014 and comes into force starting from the date of its official publication.
