Experience includes:

  • Bangladesh: advising the Government of Bangladesh on the structuring and tendering of an elevated expressway PPP project connecting the Dhaka airport to the city centre
     
  • India: advising an IFI and the government of Andhra Pradesh for the structuring and implementation of 2 pilot PPP projects in diagnostic services, each for several regional hospitals
     
  • India: advising a global energy group in connection with its offer for the design, procurement and construction of four nuclear power plants in India
     
  • India: advising an IFI and the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the structuring and implementation of a PPP transaction for a toll motorway
     
  • India: advised the Government of India on the further public offering of National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), one of the largest iron ore producers in India
     
  • Maldives: advising an IFI and the Government of Maldives on the concession for the development, modernisation, expansion, operation and maintenance of Malé International Airport (BTO scheme)
     
  • Pakistan: advising a Japanese diesel equipment supplier and operator in connection with a diesel-fired plant in Lahore on numerous issues concerning the construction and the financing of the contract
     
  • Sri Lanka: advising the Ministry of Housing and Plantation Infrastructure, the Public Utilities Commission and the World Bank on legislation in the water supply and sanitation sector in Sri Lanka.

The group is particularly active in Eastern Europe and South-East Asia. It was counsel to IFC in relation to a EUR325 million international airport PPP in Maldives, the first major PPP transaction in the jurisdiction.
