Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016, Clothilde Beau is Counsel in the Investment Funds & Asset Management team of Gide
Her practice covers the structuring a of all types of investment funds (notably debt, infrastructure, real estate and private equity funds, funds dedicated to natural capital or investing in other alternative asset classes), the implementation of co-investment schemes, carried interest structures and secondary transactions on behalf of French and international management companies. She also assists institutional investors when investing in investment funds.
She has developed an expertise in licensing processes with the French Financial Markets Authority, the implementation of changes in the capital structure of portfolio management companies, as well as in marketing authorizations and passports, for French and foreign investment funds. She advises financial institutions on all matters relating to asset management regulations in France.
Clothilde holds a Bachelor Degree from Sciences Po Paris (2010) and graduated from Sciences Po Paris Law School in 2012. She also holds a Master 2 in Banking and Finance Law from Université Paris II, Panthéon-Assas (2014). She began her career with Gide in 2014, then served as Deputy General Counsel of an international investment fund with offices in Paris, London, New York and Luxembourg, before rejoining Gide.
