FONCIERE RENAISSANCE, a property investment and management real estate asset company set up by Eric Bendavid, has joined forces with a private investor to acquire the emblematic building located at the corner of 40, avenue George V and rue François Ier (75008 Paris) from the Saudi private investor Mahdi Al-Tajir.
This 7-storey mixed retail and office building includes 52 parking spaces and totals more than 7,900 square metres.
Located in the "triangle d'or", the most prestigious district in Paris, the building is in an exceptional location, with neighbours including Louis Vuitton and Hermès, as well as the Four Seasons and Bulgari hotels.
The acquisition was backed by senior debt arranged with Deutsche Bank and funds raised from private investors.
Foncière Renaissance was advised by Gide on all legal aspects of the acquisition, its structuring and financing.
The Gide team consisted of Renaud Baguenault de Puchesse, partner, Agathe Delalande and Yannick Granjon, associates, on the transactional and real estate aspects, and Laetitia Lemercier, partner, Faten Anis, counsel, and Nolan Condette, associate, on the financing aspects.
Foncière Renaissance was also advised on tax matters by Arsene Taxand (Stéphanie Hamis and Grégoire Desouche) and on notarial matters by R&D (Géraldine Bonneau, Julien Remusat, David Sussmann and Tess Hellenbrand).
