Mélanie Gouraud is an associate in Gide's Competition & International Trade practice group in Brussels.
Her practice covers all areas of European law, from institutional law to internal market law (free movement of persons, goods, services and capital). In the field of competition law, Mélanie has worked on cartel, abuse of dominant position and state aid cases, both before the French Competition Authority and the European Commission, as well as before the Court of Justice of the European Union. She also acts in merger control proceedings before the European Commission.
Mélanie studied at the University of Nice and the University of Strasbourg. Her working languages are French and English.
