Gide advises ProSiebenSat.1 Media on its acquisition of a stake in Deezer

Gide has advised the German media group ProSiebenSat.1 on its acquisition of a stake in Deezer, the French on-demand music streaming platform. The transaction notably includes the contribution to Deezer of Ampya, ProSiebenSat.1’s music streaming service. Already available in more than 180 countries with 16 million active users (and 5 million paying subscribers), Deezer intends to use this strategic partnership to continue its development in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
