Jean-Gabriel Flandrois is a Partner in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team and heads the Restructuring - Distressed M&A practice in Paris.
He regularly coordinates cross-border transactions in Europe and the MENA region. He has developed particular expertise in the acquisition and restructuring of banks and financial institutions. In France, he is also involved in private equity transactions and is regularly involved in transactions in the FinTech sector.
Jean-Gabriel recently advised Fnac Darty on the acquisition of Nature et Découvertes and its strategic partnership with CTS Eventeam, BNP Paribas on the sale of its banking subsidiaries in Gabon and the Comoros and BNP Paribas Cardif on the implementation of a new capital-intensive partnership with Matmut in the property and casualty insurance sector. In restructuring, Jean-Gabriel recently advised La Mutuelle des Etudiants and Stentys in their safeguard procedures, and the French entities of the Fintyre group in their trans-European restructuring.
He is a graduate of Université Paris II and Université de Cergy. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1999.
