In 2021, Gide launches a new initiative to encourage talented individuals to apply to the firm.
Driven by the Executive Committee on an original idea of partner Nicolas Jean, recently elected to the Committee, Gide Talents goes on the road to meet students in universities throughout France to encourage them to apply to Gide.
"The launch of Gide Talents stems from one main observation: the 4,000 CVs we receive every year are excellent, but also very similar. We have a real ambition to ensure that all talented individuals, regardless of their background and training, apply to us. To this end, with the Committee we have decided to take the first step: going to meet the students on their campus, in their environment is crucial to create a first contact and show them an image of Gide that is very different from the one they imagined", explains Nicolas Jean.
A tour with several dates
The first meeting took place on Monday 22 February with Université Sorbonne Paris 13, presided by Christophe Fouqueré, and chaired by Anne Fauchon.
Nicolas Jean, Guilhem Richard, Alexandra Munoz, Benjamin Krief and Amélie Pironneau were delighted to chat with students at Master's level in advanced business law, dispute resolution, and European and international economic law, with lecturers Nathalie Blanc, Anne-Cécile Martin, and Bernard Haftel.
