Talents | Discover our immersive mini-documentary
A pioneer in the world of law, Gide has been promoting innovation and initiative for over 100 years. True to its values and its desire for transparency, the firm wanted to offer an immersive experience through a 4-minute mini-documentary. Supported by a real artistic direction and directed by a documentary filmmaker, the film was shot in the firm's offices at 15 rue Laborde in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. It follows the daily professional lives of four young Gide associates, through moments of work, informal discussions, and friendly team moments.
This immersive shoot aimed to put the spotlight on the various teams in their daily activities and successfully shows the reality of associates’ work.
Teamwork, management, international exposure, relationships with their clients, stress management... the four protagonists, Enora, Simon, Manon and Alexandre, explain their activity in their own words and share the reality of their profession with the viewer.
“I was very impressed by the firm's approach to involve us in the project from the outset. We were able to think with all the teams involved about the form the documentary would take, about the messages we, as young lawyers, wanted to get across. This is truly the mark of a desire for transparency, which is still too rare on the market”, observes Enora Guénon, Gide associate and protagonist in the documentary.
By giving a voice to Gide's associates, the director wanted to simply embody the firm's excellence by staying as close as possible to the reality of the lawyers who make it successful. By showing that the firm is made up of diverse backgrounds and by highlighting the people who are the first to be involved, this mini-documentary sends a clear message to future recruits.
“Designed together with the associates, our communications department, the film director, the teams of PR and communications agency Enderby, as well as the firm's partners, « One day at Gide » is a short film that gives real insight into the daily lives of our young associates. It highlights the pioneering spirit of our firm, and showcases the trust that we have in the work of our lawyers", says Olivier Diaz, Partner and member of the Executive Committee.
“Young lawyers have new aspirations that are redesigning the labour market in the legal sector. Our firm decided to take the plunge by advocating transparency and making young associates the face of Gide. Future lawyers want to receive the necessary support so that they can grow in France and internationally: this is what we want to show them through this mini-documentary," adds Frédéric Nouel, Senior Partner.
