Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2003, partner Jean-François Levraud is a partner within Gide's Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group in Paris. He mainly advises his clients on real estate transactions and in particular on construction, development and real estate development. He has also developed a comprehensive practice in sales and acquisitions.
Jean-François joined Gide's office in Morocco in September 2013 to strengthen the real estate business and practice there. He managed the Casablanca office until the summer of 2018, before returning to practice in Paris. Over recent years, Jean-François has advised in France groups such as AccorInvest, Seafrigo Investment, DWS GmbH, BNP Paribas, Blackrock Investment, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Pernod Ricard and Unibail-Rodamco. He has also been involved on the acquisition of a Portuguese retail complex for BNP Paribas REIM, and on the purchase of four strategic hotels in Europe for AccorInvest.
Jean-François is consistenly ranked as a leading lawyer in real estate law in Morocco by the various international legal directories Chambers Global, Legal 500 and IFLR1000. He is also ranked as "Expert Based Abroad" for the Moroccan market in 2020.
Jean-François is Managing Partner of Gide since January 1st, 2021.
