Gide is delighted to announce the arrival of a new partner: Olivier Loizon. Olivier will be joining the firm’s Criminal and Commercial Litigation team, alongside partners Bruno Quentin, Jean-Philippe Pons-Henry, Sophie Scemla and Jean-Sébastien Bazille. He brings with him Laure-Anne Montigny, of counsel, and Max de Castelnau, associate.
Olivier will handle strategic commercial and civil cases, both French and international. The firm is looking to boost its litigation practice and Olivier will work hand-in-hand with the team’s existing partners, and in particular Jean-Sébastien Bazille (named partner in 2023), to achieve this. His arrival also reflects the firm’s desire to build on synergies with its transactional teams, especially in the M&A department.
With these new arrivals, Gide’s Criminal and Commercial Litigation practice now counts five partners, five counsels/of counsels and sixteen associates.
“In bringing Olivier on board, we have added a new heavyweight to our litigation practice – a practice that is pivotal to the firm’s growth. With business becoming ever more litigious and major civil and commercial cases ever more complex, we are keen to build up our expertise in this area so that we can assist our clients as effectively as possible. We are delighted to have Olivier join us in this endeavour.” – Frédéric Nouel, Senior Partner, and Jean-François Levraud, Managing Partner.
“Olivier’s recognised expertise in corporate litigation, his business acumen and his broad-ranging experience in international matters will help us take our commercial litigation practice to the next level. We are thrilled to welcome him and his team to the department.” – Bruno Quentin, partner.
Olivier Loizon declares himself “delighted to be joining such a prestigious firm, known for its international activity and the excellence of its teams. With our unique combination of skills and experience, we can offer our clients the tailored support they need to tackle any and all strategic challenges that come their way.”
