Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2003, Olivier Loizon is a recognised expert in business litigation.
He advises and assists his clients - companies, managers and shareholders - in managing and resolving the complex and sensitive disputes they face.
Prior to joining Gide, he practised for nine years with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (2003-2012), before founding SLVF in 2012 and merging with Viguié Schmidt & Associés in 2017.
Olivier holds a master's degree in business law and taxation from the University of Paris I and a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in private international law and international trade from the University of Paris II.
Olivier is a member of the French Arbitration Committee and Paris Place de Droit and is a lecturer at the University of Paris-Saclay.
He is regularly recognised by the main international league tables (Chambers and Legal 500) and by his peers (Best Lawyers) as a leading lawyer in strategic litigation.
