Gide's affiliated firm in Turkey, Özdirekcan Dündar Şenocak Ak (ODSA), has advised Schindler Türkeli, an affiliate of the Swiss multinational Schindler Group, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of OM Elektrik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a leading Turkish company manufacturing and commercializing elevators.
This acquisition will allow Schindler Türkeli to operate with its own domestic production facility and to produce assemble specific elevator (i.e. package elevator) components in Turkey.
Closing took place after obtaining of the Turkish Competition Authority's approval.
ODSA assisted Schindler Türkeli with a team led by partner Arpat Şenocak, involving senior associates Pınar Veziroğlu Dilek (Corporate/M&A) and İklim Aytekin (Competition).
