Gide is proud to support the Solar Energy Standardisation Initiative, which was launched in June 2016 to strive to develop the competitive production of solar energy throughout the world and foster investments in the sector.
The Solar Energy Standardisation Initiative is led by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Terrawatt Initiative (TWI). TWI was launched during COP21 in November 2015 as a global independent non-profit organisation that aims to promote the acceleration of solar development and bring together all players of the private and public sectors in order to define standard templates as well as main legal documentation pertaining to solar energy production projects, with a view to facilitating their financing and cost and speed of development.
Gide will act alongside other law firms, with a team comprising partner Stéphane Vernay and associates Victor Grandguillaume and Barthélémy Littot from the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) practice group.
