Gide has once again assisted the Ivorian Ministry of Tourism and Leisure in the organisation and hosting of a roundtable of donors on 22 November in Hamburg, Germany.
This roundtable, bringing together financial institutions and leading groups in the tourism, real estate, construction and infrastructure sectors, resulted in a record new mobilisation of funds amounting to approximately USD 6.4 billion in investment pledges to the Ivorian tourism sector.
The firm, represented by partner Nicolas Jean and associate Constance Emié, assisted the Minister and his teams in the negotiation and finalisation of all the MOUs and Letters of Intent signed by the Minister in Hamburg.
Gide had previously assisted the Ministry during its Dubai roundtable on 20 and 21 October, which resulted in the mobilisation of approximately USD 5 billion and the conclusion of some 15 MOUs and Letters of Intent negotiated by the firm. Nearly USD 12 billion have thus been pledged to the Ivorian tourism and leisure sector.
