After participating in the drafting of the Euro PP Charter, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, Gide and Kramer Levin law firms were appointed by the Steering Committee of the Euro PP Charter to provide templates of agreements for the loan and note format.
The three firms shared their experience in financing to propose a documentation reflecting the practice developed on the Euro PP market since its inception in 2012. Discussions continued within the Euro PP working group, with representatives from borrowers, lenders and arrangers (Af2i, AFG, AFTE, AMAFI, ASMEP-ETI, FBF, FFSA, GEMA, MEDEF, PARIS-EUROPLACE), to issue this documentation whose particularity lies within a consensus-based approach between the interests of the different parties at stake: borrowers, lenders and arrangers.
It is available in French and in English on the Euro PP Steering Committee’s website (www.euro-privateplacement.com) and is expected to be a major drive of the ongoing success of the Euro PP market.
The Euro PP initiative benefits from the support of the authorities (French Treasury, Banque de France).
Gide lawyers involved on this Euro PP documentation templates: Hubert du Vignaux (notes) and Laetitia Lemercier (loans).
