Gide has advised Wendel on the acquisition of a minority share in Tarkett Participation, a company controlled by the Deconinck family in order to launch a simplified tender offer on Tarkett. The transaction will be financed by Wendel and the long-term banking partners of Tarkett. Depending on the outcome of the tender offer, Wendel will own up to 30% of Tarkett Participation; the Deconinck family will retain control of the company.
