Gide has advised Tikehau Investment Management, the main platform of Tikehau Capital dedicated to asset management, on the launch of T2 ELTIF ENERGY TRANSITION FUND, its first private equity fund with approval to be marketed as a European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) granted by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF).
This fund replicates the FPCI T2 ENERGY TRANSITION FUND, managed by Tikehau Investment Management and that focuses on the financing of the energy transition.
The ELTIF is dedicated to Banca March private clients in Spain.
The Gide team comprised partner Stéphane Puel, working with associates Clothilde Beau and Perrine Soupault on structuring the fund, obtaining approval from the AMF and the regulatory aspects of its distribution, and partner Laurent Modave on tax aspects.
Gide worked with its European Network privileged partner firm in Spain, Cuatrecasas, on the regulatory and tax aspects of marketing the ELTIF in Spain.
