Gide has advised the management of Socotec, an information and certification specialist, in connection with the acquisition of a stake in the US fund Clayton Dubilier & Rice, alongside the Belgian company Cobepa, the group's controlling shareholder. This investment in Socotec's capital was made at the same time as the buyout of Five Arrows Principal Investments and BIP Investment Partners (Luxembourg).
The Gide team that advised Socotec's management was led by partner Jean-François Louit with associates François Bossé-Cohic, Vincenzo Feldmann and Marguerite Drouard, on the corporate aspects.
Mayer Brown advised on the tax law aspects of the transaction.
Oloryn Partners handled the financial aspects, alongside the management-side.
