Gide has advised Ivanhoé Cambridge on its off-plan acquisition of a logistics warehouse in Roye, located on the main motorway linking Paris to Lille in the north of France.
This asset adds to the geographical reach of the Hub&Flow portfolio, i.e. 17 platforms totalling 430.000 sq.m., acquired by Ivanhoé Cambridge from group Carlyle in February.
The transaction is part of Ivanhoé Cambridge's expansion strategy for its logistics portfolio in continental Europe, and includes the potential construction on the Roye site of a 5,600-sq.m. freight facility dedicated to transportation/logistics for industry, distribution and e-commerce operations.
The Gide team advising Ivanhoé Cambridge was headed by partner Hugues Moreau, working with associate Sophie Gillard, both members of our Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group.
The buyer was also advised by notarial office Allez & Associés.
