Gide has advised ICICLE, the established natural and sustainable fashion brand in China, on the creation of ICCF Group (Icicle Carven China France), uniting ICICLE and the Parisian fashion house CARVEN, that has been owned by ICICLE since 2018. Gide assisted on all legal matters pertaining to the establishment of the group and all necessary reorganisations.
ICCF Group reflects the original and fruitful collaboration between western and eastern cultures and two markets: France and China. It will bring great benefits to the two brands, ICICLE and CARVEN, from natural material expertise to production facilities and multicultural artistic teams, "key" to the international development of both brands.
Gide's team was led by partner Fan Jiannian in Shanghai, working in Paris with counsel Romain d'Innocente and associate Pauline De Roquefeuil on corporate aspects, partner Arnaud Michel and associate Camille d'Angerville on IP matters, partner Bertrand Oldra and counsel Etienne Chesneau on real estate aspects, and partner Foulques de Rostolan and associate Bénédicte Perrier on employment aspects.
Gide has been advising ICICLE since their first investment in France, with the creation of a design center in 2013, the acquisition of French brand CARVEN in 2018, the opening in Paris of their first flagship store on Avenue George V in 2019, and the establishment of ICCF Group at CARVEN's historic location, 6 Rond-Point des Champs Elysées, in 2021.
