Étienne Chesneau has been made partner in Gide’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing team in Paris. His practice spans all areas of property law, in both litigation and an advisory capacity.
Étienne works with French and foreign institutional investors on a daily basis, advising them at all stages of their French real estate projects. These projects include transactions (asset deals, share deals, partnerships, sale-and-leaseback operations, etc.), construction or redevelopment projects (off-plan sales or leases, property development contracts, etc.) and rental management matters (commercial leases, agency agreements, etc.). The assets involved range from office properties, retail assets and hotels to warehouses and co-living residences, among others.
He holds degrees from the ESSEC business school and the Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris II - Panthéon-Assas universities. Admitted to the Paris bar in 2014, Étienne is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
