Gide Shanghai partner Fan Jiannian has contributed, as Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief, to the drafting and publication of a legal guide entitled “A Practical Guide to In-House Counsels” published in China by Press Law and launched during the “Asia Corporate Counsel Summit” on 22 September 2019.
This guide has been compiled at the request of the Shanghai Lawyers Association, which invited members of its Specific Committee, law firms, in-house counsels of Chinese companies (such as AkzoNobel, Bank of Shanghai, China Fortune Securities, China Universal Asset Management, China Minsheng Investment Group, China Pacific Insurance Group, Golden Concord Holdings Limited, INESA Group, Philips, Shanghai Electric Group, Shanghai Municipal Investment Group, Sinar Mas Paper (China) Investment Co., Limited,) and legal data and technology companies (such as Lexis Nexis China, Meta Sota) to write this guide. Fan Jiannian is the only representative of a foreign law firm to have contributed.
Its content focuses on the professional, management and communication practices that must be mastered by companies' legal representatives or external lawyers in China, regarding, in particular, legal, compliance and risk control matters.
基德参与编写法律出版社出版的中国法律指引
法律出版社于2019年9月在中国出版了《公司法务实务操作指引》，并于2019年9月22日举行的亚洲法务峰会上推出，法国基德上海合伙人范建年作为执行副主编参与了该法律指引的编写和出版。
该指引在上海市律师协会的组织下编撰。上海市律师协会特邀会员工作委员会成员、多家律所、国内企业（如：阿克苏诺贝尔（中国）投资有限公司、上海银行、华鑫证券、汇添富基金管理股份有限公司、中国民生投资集团、中国太平洋保险（集团）股份有限公司、协鑫（集团）控股有限公司、上海仪电（集团）有限公司、飞利浦照明、上海电气集团、上海城投（集团）有限公司、金光集团APP中国）的内部法律顾问以及法律数据和技术公司（如：律商联讯中国、秘塔科技）参与编写该指引。范建年是参与此书出版工作的唯一外资律所代表。
该指引的内容主要聚焦于中国公司的法律人或外部律师所必须掌握的法律、合规、风控等方面的专业、管理和沟通实务。
