Gide is delighted to announce the arrival of partners Gabriel Sonier and Caroline Texier to its Restructuring practice.

A benchmark figure in the fields of dispute resolution, corporate restructuring of distressed companies, and collective actions, Gabriel Sonier has advised in particular Virgin Stores, Technicolor, Eurotunnel and Omnium Finance. After setting up his firm, Sonier & Associés, in 1971, Gabriel Sonier practised law as a partner at Dentons. He is a founding member of the French association for business turnaround (Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises - A.R.E.). He holds a D.E.S. in private law and a diploma from the Institut de Droit Comparé (University of Paris - Panthéon).
Caroline Texier is admitted to both the Paris and New York bars and is highly recognised for her expertise in restructuring. After several years with Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York and Paris, she joined Gabriel Sonier in 2005 and became a partner in 2009. She joined Dentons as a partner in 2012, at the same time as Gabriel Sonier. Caroline holds a Magistère in business law, a DJCE from the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School.
