Gide advised Nippon Steel Corporation on the sale of its entire stake in Vallourec S.A. through a placement to institutional investors of 7,851,128 million shares at a purchase price of €9.90 per share by way of an accelerated bookbuilding.
Gide’s team comprised U.S law partner Melinda Arsouze, assisted by senior U.S. associate Scott Logan, on securities law matters, together with Corporate partner Charles de Reals, assisted by associate Corentin Charlès.
Nippon Steel Corporation was also assisted by Jeantet on certain French law aspects.
J.P. Morgan Securities plc acted as Sole Global Coordinator with respect to the placement.
