International law firm Gide, alongside Ivorian law firm IKT, has advised Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire as lender, arranger, facility agent and security trustee on implementing a financing of 16,400,000,000 Francs CFA for the construction of the high-end office and retail complex "Ivoire Trade Center", in the prestigious Embassy neighbourhood of Abidjan-Cocody (Côte d’Ivoire).
The complex, which will be promoted and operated by PFO Immobilier, will be integrated to the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire site, and will offer rental space covering over 17,000 sq.m.. Once operational, the Ivoire Trade Center will be the first EDGE-certified operational business centre in Côte d’Ivoire, which guarantees controlled water and energy use.

Osther Tella, partner of IKT, acted on aspects of Ivorian law. The borrower was represented by partner Zinda Sawadogo of Ivorian firm KSK.
