Gide advises YIT Development, a subsidiary of YIT listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, on the conclusion of an investment agreement and a shareholders' agreement with the Wrocław-based developer i2 Development, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The firm advised YIT at all stages of the investment, starting from the structuring, through the legal due diligence of projects and entities covered by the joint venture, to negotiations and signing the transaction documentation, namely the investment agreement and the shareholders' agreement. The YIT and i2 joint venture is to include the planned and implemented i2 Development’s projects in Wrocław: the Staromiejski Boulevard projects, Ogrody Grabiszyńskie – stages 1 and 2, Awicenny – stage 2, Żegiestowska and Stalowa. Gide's advisory services have also included assistance in the process of satisfying the conditions for closing of the transaction scheduled for the end of June 2019 at the latest.
