Gide has advised the banking syndicate composed of Bryan Garnier & Co, Portzamparc BNP Paribas, Natixis and Gilbert Dupont on the capital increase by Waga Energy for a total gross amount of €52 million. Waga Energy’s ordinary shares are listed for trading on Euronext in Paris.
Sensorion is a global expert in converting landfill gas into Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) (also known as “biomethane”) by upgrading landfill gas using a patented purification technology called WAGABOX®.
This fundraising will finance the equity portion of the capex investments in new projects and the pre-manufacturing and manufacturing of WAGABOX© units to deliver on its international expansion. With the net proceeds of the capital increase, together with additional non-dilutive sources of financing, including corporate debt, Waga Energy expects to finance the capex investments required to reach its 2026 revenue objective of €200 million. .
Gide also advised the banks on Waga Energy’s IPO on Euronext Paris in 2021.
