Gide’s Casablanca Banking & Finance team, led by partner Mariam Rouissi, advised Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement, AFD), on the implementation of a second line of funding of EUR 30 million in favour of Chaabi International Banque Offshore (CIB Offshore), a subsidiary of Banque Centrale Populaire.
The financing agreement, signed on 3 June 2014, aims to finance the activities of CIB Offshore, the platfom of the Banque Populaire group specialised in foreign currency funding.
