Gide has advised Lesaffre, global key player in the field of yeasts and fermentation, on the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Inner Mongolia Biohymn Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a Chinese company specialized in the production of yeast and yeast extracts.
This new investment will help strengthen the group’s presence and offering in China.
Gide’s advice covered due diligence of the target company, deal structuring, drafting and negotiation of all transaction documents (letter of intent, share purchase agreement, joint venture contract, articles of association, etc.) and closing.
The Gide team was headed by partner David Boitout, working with associates Zhao Jie and Gu Xin.
