Gide advised Lendix, a French crowdlending platform dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in the structuring and the setting up, on 8 July 2016, of LDX SME II, a securitisation company licensed as "ELTIF (European Long Term Investment Fund)" by the French financial markets authority.
This is the first securitisation undertaking licensed as ELTIF under the Regulation (EU) No. 2015/760 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 on European funds for long-term investment entered into force on 9 December 2015. LDX SME II is also the first ELTIF dedicated to the funding of SMEs. It is intended to support the development of the crowdlending platform dedicated to SME Lendix in Europe.
The Gide team consisted of partner Christine Van Gallebaert, and associates David Aumain and Sonia Aguercif.
