Gide advised FREY, a commercial property investor and developer listed on Euronext and active in France, Spain and Portugal, on all stages of obtaining a €50 million loan from BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. to refinance the Matarnia Retail Park in Gdansk, Poland.
The Gide team consisted of Marta Karmińska, of counsel, in charge of advising FREY on the signing and closing of the loan agreement, Rafał Osetek, counsel and Michał Wiśniewski accompanied the client on the real estate aspects of the transaction. Our Banking & Finance and Real Estate teams were responsible for providing full support to the client during the transaction.
This is another Matarnia Retail Park project on which Gide recently advised FREY. Previously, the team advised the client on the acquisition of this open-air shopping centre from Ingka Centres.
