Gide advises Crédit Agricole S.A. on the sale of its residual 15% stake in Crédit du Maroc

Gide advised Crédit Agricole SA on the sale to the Holmarcom group (Holmarcom Finance City) of the second and final 15% tranche of its stake in Crédit du Maroc, a Moroccan bank listed on the Casablanca stock exchange. This transaction follows the sale by Crédit Agricole SA of the first tranche of 63.7% of its stake in Crédit du Maroc on 6 December 2022.

Following this transaction, Crédit Agricole no longer holds any shares in Crédit du Maroc.

Crédit Agricole SA was advised by Gide, with Jean-Gabriel Flandrois, partner in Paris, Simon Auquier and Chloé Joachim de Larivière, partners in Casablanca, and Constance Holman, associate in Casablanca.

The Holmarcom group was advised by Naciri A&O Sherman, with Hicham Naciri (Partner), Ralph Salameh (Counsel), Zineb El Kouhen (Associate) and Yasmine Andalous Ouartassi (Associate).
