Gide has advised CDC Croissance, a management company and subsidiary of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, in structuring the “CDC CROISSANCE SELECTION PME” fund of funds.
The fund is dedicated to the long-term financing of investment funds investing in listed SMEs and mid-cap (ETI) companies. The initial size of the fund is €500 million, fully financed by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.
The fund aims to make listed SMEs and mid-cap (ETI) companies more attractive by investing selectively in small and mid-cap investment funds located in France and the Eurozone. Through its investments, the fund will aim to accelerate the return to critical size of the selected investment funds so that they regain their attractiveness to French and international institutional investors. CDC CROISSANCE SELECTION PME seeks to build a portfolio of around 25 investment funds.
The Gide team comprised partner Stéphane Puel, counsel Clothilde Beau and associates Coralie Leger and Margot Lecoeur.
