Gide assisted a bank syndicate composed of ABN Amro Bank N.V., S.A., Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, HSBC Continental Europe, Natixis and Société Générale on the issuance by Eramet of its first sustainability-linked bonds in a principal amount of €500 million, admitted to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Paris.
The bonds are linked to two sustainability performance targets which are (i) the reduction by 35% of the annual Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity of the Eramet Group on 31 December 2025 compared to such emissions in 2019 and (ii) the increase to 67% of the share (by emissions) of its suppliers and its customers having decarbonation targets consistent with the well-below 2° Celsius scenario of the Paris Agreement, on 31 December 2025.
Concurrently, Gide advised the bank syndicate on the tender offer by Eramet on a series of notes for EUR 429,700,000, maturing in February 2024.
The Gide team was led by partner Laurent Vincent, assisted by counsel Aude-Laurene Dourdain, associates Louis Ravaud and Emilie Radisson.
