19 January 2012: Gide advises Alstom Grid, Bouygues Immobilier, Bouygues Telecom, ERDF, ETDE, Schneider Electric, Steria and Total Energie Développement on the setting up of a consortium
Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised Alstom Grid, Bouygues Immobilier, Bouygues Telecom, ERDF, ETDE, Schneider Electric, Steria and Total Energie Développement on the setting up of consortium Issy-Grid. Microsoft, advised by August & Debouzy, is also a founding member of this consortium, thereby bringing together all the strategic and technological skills required for the implementation of the private smart grid project in the business district of Issy-les-Moulineaux, located in the southwest inner suburbs of Paris.
Issy-Grid is a pilot project that aims to optimise energy usage throughout this business district, by using a smart electricity distribution network. The project is part of a local response to worldwide environmental challenges and will ultimately cover the electricity needs of around 10,000 people within a surface area covering 160,000 sq.m.
The Gide Loyrette Nouel team, led by Bertrand Oldra (partner), comprised Raphaëlle Dequiré-Portier (partner), Sylvain Bergès, David Sabatier and Pénélope Bignon (associates).
Legal counsel to Microsoft France: August & Debouzy (Mahasti Razavi, partner).
