Richard Ghueldre est l'associé responsable de la ligne de métiers Assurances du cabinet Gide. Il est spécialisé en droit des assurances et de la réassurance ainsi qu'en droit de la responsabilité. Il dispose d'une expérience approfondie en matière de contentieux d'assurance (vie et non vie), de réglementation des entreprises et intermédiaires d'assurance (implantation, fonctionnement et restructuration), ainsi que dans la mise en place, tant en France qu'à l'international, de programmes ou de réseaux de distribution d'assurance.

Richard Ghueldre est le conseil habituel d'un grand nombre d'acteurs traditionnels de l'assurance mais également d'opérateurs bancaires et financiers, de groupes industriels ou de sociétés de services ainsi que de cabinets d'avocats étrangers confrontés à des problématiques assurantielles. Il dispose également d'une expérience en matière de contentieux stratégiques notamment devant l'ACPR ainsi qu'en matière d'action de groupe ou collective.

Il est également intervenu dans de nombreuses procédures de médiation et d'arbitrage dans le secteur de l'assurance notamment en qualité d'arbitre et est le co-auteur d'un ouvrage consacré aux Modes Alternatifs de Règlements des Conflits (MARC) dans l'assurance.

Systématiquement référencé en Band 1 ou Leading Individual par Legal 500 & Chambers depuis plus de 15 ans, Richard figure également dans la liste des meilleurs experts en assurance publiée par Who's Who Legal et Best Lawyers.

Il fait également partie des deux avocats spécialisés en assurance référencé dans le classement Best of the Best de la revue Expert Guide 2020.
