Thomas Courtel a rejoint Gide en 1999 et est associé depuis 2008. Il intervient dans deux domaines : les infrastructures et les entreprises publiques.
En matière d'infrastructures et d'équipements publics, il intervient pour la construction, le financement et l'exploitation de routes, autoroutes et ouvrages d'art, de liaisons ferroviaires et d'aéroports, de réseaux de communications électroniques, de bornes de recharge pour véhicules électriques, d'éclairage public, de chauffage urbain et de transport d'hydrocarbures, de stades et salles de spectacles, de prisons, palais de justice et bâtiments ministériels, d'hôpitaux, d'établissements scolaires et d'universités. Aux côtés équipes Fusions-Acquisitions et Banque Finance de Gide, son équipe offre un service complet, depuis la structuration contractuelle et le financement de projets, l'accompagnement opérationnel, jusqu'aux cessions et refinancements des actifs.
Thomas intervient également dans le domaine des entreprises publiques, en lien étroit avec les équipes Fusions-Acquisitions de Gide et avec les spécialistes des aides d'Etat de notre Bureau de Bruxelles. Pour le compte de ces entreprises, de leurs actionnaires, d'investisseurs et de prêteurs, il participe aux opérations de nationalisation, de privatisation et de réorganisation des entreprises publiques. Il accompagne aussi leur développement sous toutes leurs formes : partenariats industriels, restructuration de la dette, passation des marchés publics.
Thomas Courtel est titulaire du Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies de Droit Public de l'Economie de l'Université de Paris II (1998).
