Avocat au Barreau de Paris, Jean-François Louit est spécialisé dans les opérations de fusion-acquisition, de capital-investissement et de marchés de capitaux. Il dispose dans ces domaines de plus de vingt ans d’expérience, passées au sein de cabinets anglo-saxons et français de premier plan.

Il accompagne notamment les dirigeants, les fondateurs d’entreprise et les managers dans le cadre de ces opérations notamment en ce qui concerne les sujets d’accès au capital, d’incentive du management et de gouvernance. Il est ainsi récemment intervenu dans le cadre d’opérations corporate majeures, telles que le spin-off d'Accor Invest ou l'OPA de CVC sur April ou encore l’acquisition d’IPH par Advent. Il intervient dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre de plans d'actionnariat des salariés.

Avant de rejoindre Gide, Jean-François Louit était associé au sein du département Corporate & Securities du cabinet Mayer Brown Paris. Jean-François est titulaire du Magistère de droit des affaires, fiscalité et comptabilité de la Faculté de droit d'Aix-en-Provence et d'un Master of Laws (LL.M.) d'Osgoode Hall Law School à Toronto (Canada).
