Gide has advised Crédit Agricole funds on their initial investment in franco-irish solar IPP Amarenco beginning of 2020, on their reinvestment alongside Tikehau end of 2020 and on this new EUR 300,000,000 fundraising from Arjun Infrastructure Partners.
This fundraising will allow Amarenco to move to the next step, continuing the development of solar and storage projects worldwide (notably by completing the commissioning of the 100 MWh lithium-ion battery storage flagship project "Claudia" in Gironde) but also starting regenerative energy production through micro-forest and soil regeneration projects.
The Gide team was led by partner Alexis Pailleret, working with associate Chloé Bouhours on M&A/Corporate aspects and partner Emmanuel Reille on antitrust aspects.
The Crédit Agricole team was notably composed of Jean Lebreton, Pierre-Arnaud Pinczon du Sel, Antoine Paris and Arnaud Hallopé.
Amarenco was advised by Herbert Smith Freehills, Tikehau was advised by Paul Hastings and Arjun Infrastructure Partners was advised by Watson Farley Williams.
